Lucky Luciano was born on November 11th, 1896 in Lercara Friddi, Sicily, Italy then moved to the U.S in 1906. His occupation was a criminal he started dealing drugs, mugging, and stealing when he got his first charge at age 10 from shoplifting. Then in 1907 his started causing trouble by making jewish kids give him pennies for his protection. In the 1920's Lucky was number two "boss of bosses" his main goal was to become the number one "boss" of the United States.He then became number one "boss" in new york in the later 1920's. It really started in the mid 1930's when Luciano was sentenced for 30 to 50 years in prison. While lucky was still in prison he help the military Navel Intelligence protect New York docks from Nazi Saboteurs. Luciano did this so he could get to a better prison and get early parole. After getting out of prison he joined with the mobsters again. Lucky then noticed that he was not getting his fair share in the mob as he noted when talking with Lansky. On January 26, 1962 Lucky suffered a fatal heart attack in the Naples Airport and was then sent back to America to be buried in St. John's cemetery. Lucky Luciano was one of the most powerful men in the mafia till this day. He was the first the first person to challenge the "old mafia". Luciano will be remember in the gangster world.
